Well, I got all four weeks done for this. Thank you, ScrapMuch? I hope I can continue to play here. I've enjoyed the sketches and gotten so much accomplished. Yay!
Yes, I do like die-cut letters better than stickers! No more stickers!

ScrapMuch? September 19, 2014 Sketch Challenge
Third week and counting! Have had so much fun playing with the sketches at ScrapMuch? Maybe some of my crafty friends will join me! It has been a great help to me to work on catching up, not that that will ever happen! :o)
Those sticker letters are going to have to go. Tomorrow I will die-cut some new ones! A lesson learned! The Spidey was from a napkin from the birthday party. I saved it almost 2 years for this purpose. About time!

ScrapMuch? Sept. 12, 2014 Sketch Challenge
This is my second entry for ScrapMuch? I hope they don't mind me jumping in with all four weeks of the month at once! I had fun with this sketch, fitting the pieces together, but I think I'm more used to filling the page. Once I did very tiny journaling around the edges, I was happier with my results. Now that I look at the results again, I don't think I like stickers for titles. I may redo that part with die-cut letters. Hmmm. . . .
ScrapMuch? Sept 5, 2014 Sketch Challenge
I had some extra time this past week and a big need to catch up on my scrapbooking. I do much better when I have the inspiration and incentive of a challenge. I went looking for a place to play a few weeks ago and liked what I saw at ScrapMuch? I did all September's challenges, so I hope I can get them posted in time!
The left page is a modification of what I did for Papercrafter's Corner. Then I made this a two page layout of our wonderful Christmas trip.

PaperCrafter's Corner, Magazine Monday #69
PCC Inspiration, Week 69 |
If you could only see the details in the picture I took: row houses, old museum buildings, Big Ben, the new Shard, the Millennium Wheel and more and more! And this was from our hotel window. I spent a lot of time just enjoying that view, day and night! The smaller picture is the statue at Piccadilly Circus dressed up as a snow globe. Fortunately, I got my picture when I did, because the winds popped it the next day. Wonderful Christmas memories!
Thank you, PaperCrafter's Corner for the incentive to get this scrapped!

Week 68, PaperCrafter's Corner Magazine Monday
I love the way these challenges can be adapted or can adapt me. Sometimes they really stretch me to come up with a suitable plan. This time I had a card idea, so I just adapted it to fit the sketch given. Such fun! Is it no wonder I am addicted to papercrafting?!!
It was easy to opt for a black background like the inspiration piece, but I did emboss it to add that much-loved texture. I also used a variety of shapes. I think you can see where I got that, too.
For the first time in a while, I'm getting this posted a day ahead of the deadline, so if you want to play along, click on the PCC link below the picture and do join us. Enjoy!

PaperCrafter's Corner Magazine Monday #67
PCC Inspiration |
I CASEd a card from I'm in Haven. I loved her play on words of felt hearts/heartfelt! I'm not clever enough to think of it, only to steal it! :o) I'm putting together a stash of cards for my sister's birthday (a month late!), so I made several to share.
The Couture Creations embossing folder was part of a huge prize package from fellow Fiskateer NanaBeth. Love it! Thanks, Beth!

PaperCrafter's Corner Magazine Monday, Week 66
PCC Inspiration |
July 2013 was a month I needed for her scrapbook, too. That worked out well. I used K & Company paper, Mama Elephant stamps, Fiskars punches and Sizzix dies. This may be one where I should have stopped sooner, but I just kept finding things I wanted to add. So I did! Oh, Sweet Little Girl, I hope you will look at these some day and know how much your Gramma loves you!
