I was going through paper withdrawals! I moved my craftroom from one end of the house to the other, which also meant clearing a bedroom, redressing the family room and another bedroom, a major furniture shuffle! It took every bit of two weeks. During that time there was no papercrafting! Oh, the horrors, I know! So, alas, everything has a place and everyplace is filled, not necessarily with the things that go there, but close enough! So. . .

Another page in DGD's Page-a Month (not necessarily in order)! |
PaperCrafter's Corner had a one day extension on the Magazine Monday challenge! Did I need that! I tried to stay with the color palette of the inspiration, the costumey look of the character and the decorated face! LOL! DGD's is chocolate, of course.
I also decided to use the sketch from the
DCWV Stack-a-holic challenge. I stamped and embossed the background in order to stay with the colors from PaperCrafter's Corner. Then I had fun layering textures. I used the Spring Cardstock stack for the 12 x 12 and added from the Corrugated Stack, the Printed Craft Stack and a very old Mulberry Matstack. I cut each in half to give the impression they were longer than they are. :o)
It sure felt good to be playing with paper again!
Oh my goodness Suzi! These are just about the cutest pictures ever and I love that you wrote playful journaling. I hope you made another set of beaters for "Papa". LOL! I love your take on the magazine cover at PCC.
ReplyDeleteI bet your new crafting area is really great and I am so glad you are already back to crafting. Paper withdrawals can be really tough.
SO ADORABLE. She is such a cutie and really great pics you got and you show them off well.
