I used clipart from Laurie Furnell. She comes to my rescue when I need a little coloring. DGD and I are going to send a batch of cards in for nursing home residents, so I wanted something easy for the two of us to work on together. And since Steph at PaperCrafter's Corner issued a 20 minute papercrafting challenge, I timed myself: 25 minutes for this first card, but I think it will come faster now that I have made adjustments to the sketch (lifted from a Spellbinders Blog entry). I think he may need a little Stickles and/or Glossy Accents, though! :o)
So cute! I really like the burlap background. Since I've been making scrap cards lately I think I'm under 20 minutes. I'll have to time my next one.
ReplyDeleteYour card and especially your adorable reindeer is perfect for the inspiration piece! Love the burlap, and all the wonderful details!
ReplyDeleteThis is darling, Suzi. I am going to check my dies and see if I can make cards with my grand daughter too. You have inspired me.
ReplyDeleteAdorable! So nice seeing your work and hearing about everything, glad we got to talk the other day!
