CIC22, Final Take, #3

Among other things, my son is a commercial fisherman.  He just bought his own boat and will spend most of the summer in Alaska hauling in lots of salmon, Lord willing!  My son understands that the Great Physician, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords is also the Master Fisherman.  I made this card with those thoughts in mind.
The net was recycled from a little bag of candy.  The cool stamps are from Clear Dollar Stamps.  First you stamp these fun circles, then you can add pieces and parts to make fish, pineapples and trees.  Cute!  And I don't have to color anything in.  I haven't got that down well at all.  The sentiment is from a different set but also from CDS.  Just had to put them together!  Love it!

  1. All your entries for the CIC are cute but I think this is the one that tickles me the most! Those poor paper fish! What a cute idea!

  3. Very cute card! Hey Suzi, thanks so much for the kind words about the color idea I left on Becca's blog. I've kept my scraps that way for ages! However, I'm thinking I may get a plastic 'milk crate' kind of thing from Walmart,(with or without the file folders),to put all my baggies in. That would free up a drawer, and make them easier to rummage
through. Sort of like your file idea. The best of both ideas! Thanks for sharing. It's great to meet you, and I'll be back to check in with you now and again. (I love the little fish you've created.) I also hope your son catches lots of fish!
    Thanks for sharing, Hugs, Jessica

  4. Hi Suzi, Thanks so much for visiting my website and blog. I just had to pop over here and see some of your work. This is VERY cute, creative and original! I love the "green" aspect of recycling the plastic netting as well.

  5. Oh my goodness! I've never seen anything cuter and the phrase on the little tag is perfect. This makes me so happy that I hoarded all those little bags from produce. :o)
